Baseball won it’s home opener 14-0 over Seattle University on the strength of a 10 run second inning. Sophomore Spencer Steer was 3-5 with three RBIs and Oregon used 6 pitchers in the shutout.

Satou Sabally won the Pac 12 Freshman of the Year Award for women’s Basketball. Sabally had averages of 10.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game for the Ducks this year and is the second Duck to win the award in a row after Ionescu’s win last year.

Sabrina Ionescu, surprising no one, was named Pac 12 women’s basketball Player of the Year. Ionescu lead the conference in both points and assists, and in case you hadn’t yet heard, is the NCAA all time leader in career triple doubles.

Oregon track and field has qualified 15 individuals and 3 relays for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. 10 of the qualified individuals are women, the women’s team has won 7 of the last 8 titles.
