Oregon vs. Stanford Gamethread

NCAA Basketball: Oregon at California Neville E. Guard-USA TODAY Sports

The Oregon Ducks (15-7, 5-4) take on the Stanford Cardinal (12-11, 6-4) at Maples Pavilion hoping to sweep the Bay Area schools. Tipoff begins at 2:00 p.m. PST with a telecast on FOX.

Here is a link to the game preview of today's matchup.

Oregon defeated Cal back on Thursday and played sloppy, at times, on offense. The Ducks committed 17 turnovers, an area head coach Dana Altman would like to see less of against the Cardinal.

Stanford is looking to sweep the Oregon schools after defeating Oregon State. The Cardinal had a big first half in which the Beavers could never recover.

The Ducks are 12-1 this season when outrebounding opponents.

Maples Pavilion is not the same after renovations to the court years ago. The court does not bounce, throwing off the opposing team at the free throw line. Yes, the bounce was real, as I remember how fun playing on the court was back attending basketball camps as a kid.

The game thread is now open. Please be respectful.

Go Ducks!
