Men’s basketball picked up a big win in dominating fashion over Uw to make for a very HIHwW. The Ducks were lead by Troy Brown’s 21 points and Kenny Wooten’s 7 blocks and won the second half 37-19 over a team fresh of a sweep of the Arizona schools.

For more HIHwW action, the women’s basketball team heads up to Seattle tonight to try and get back on track after a loss to Stanford. The huskies are currently 1-11 in conference play.

Softball won their season opener over #25 Georgia, 8-3. The Ducks opened up scoring for the season with a 1st inning two run home run and never looked back.

Vin Lananna, former Oregon track coach and current president of USA Track and Field has had to recuse himself from many of the duties of his job due to conflicts surrounding his various business interests in Eugene.
