Ducks vs. Golden Eagles Gamethread

NCAA Basketball: Pac-12 Conference Tournament - USC vs Oregon Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

The Oregon Ducks (23-12) take on the Marquette Golden Eagles (20-13) in a second-round NIT game. Tipoff begins at 1:30 at the Al McGuire Center, home of the Golden Eagles. ESPN 2 will televise the game.

Notre Dame, the top seed in Oregon's bracket, loss to Penn State in the second round. Oregon could host a NIT quarterfinal game with a win today.

Markus Howard is the leading scorer for the Golden Eagles, averaging 20 points per game.

Marquette fell to Villanova in the Big East Tournament, ending a chance to earn a spot in the NCAA Tournament. The Golden Eagles have made noise in the past during the Tournament but had to settle for the NIT this year.

Oregon appeared to adjust easily with the new rules the NIT is experimenting with in their first game against Rider. How will the Ducks handle the new rules on the road?

The game thread is now open. Please be respectful.

Go Ducks!
