Oregon football has landed a recruiting visit from the Number one recruit in the nation. Kayvon Thibodeaux is a 6’5 235 pound edge rusher from Thousand Oaks, California and is considered a USC lean (shocking) at this point.

Andrew Greif writes that Oregon women’s basketball had a season of firsts despite falling in the elite 8 for the second straight year. Included are the first tournament games hosted in Eugene since 2000, and the first AP first team All American award for the program (men’s or women’s) ever.

Baseball heads down to Stanford for a match up with the top ranked program in the conference according to RPI. Stanford is ranked second nationally, while Oregon is 30th. After the three game series with Stanford Oregon plays USF on Monday.

Softball has Civil War week this week. Oregon has a 15 game winning streak over OSU in Civil War match ups. Oregon is currently ranked #5 nationally and is 2-1 in conference after taking 2 of 3 from UCLA. Oregon State is un-ranked and 2-4 in conference play.
