Oregon tried it’s best to bow out of the conference tournament in the first round last night. Somehow they managed to squeak past WSU in OT in the first round of the Pac 12 tournament. Kenny Wooten blocked two shots in WSU’s last two possessions to keep Oregon in the lead.

Braxton Burmeister talks about the lessons he learned from his freshman year of football when he was unexpectedly put in the starting QB role before he was ready. The main lesson Braxton says he learned was toughness.

We have our first practice report of the Spring! Noted is that Cristobal as a head coach has more of a Chip Kelly style than a Taggart, Helfrich, or Belotti style, as he is involved with all aspects of the practice, rather then taking a more CEO like role and letting assistants take the lead.

Oregon sophomore Miranda Elish is 20-0 as a starting pitcher at Oregon, last losing a game 1-0 on an unearned run while in high school. Elish came back from an off season injury that could have delayed her start to the season improved from last year, as she was forced to focus more on technique.
