Quack Fix 4-19-18: Big Weekend for Softball and Baseball

Tyson Alger has an article on Justin Herbert discussing his development and success so far at Oregon as well as his future. This has the potential to be Herbert’s final year at Oregon with some experts already projecting him in the first round of next years NFL draft.

GoDucks previews tonight’s softball game with the second ranked Oklahoma Sooners visiting Eugene to play the fourth ranked Ducks. Oregon will approach the game with a bit of an eye towards this weekend and the conference series with Stanford.

Baseball heads to Corvallis for the Civil War series in Baseball this weekend. The Ducks have passed the half way point of the seasons and say their their margin of error to accomplish goals is razor thin.

The track team is busy this weekend with athletes competing at three different meets. Oregon will be sending athletes to the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, the Mt. SAC Relays Torrance, and the Beach Invitational in Long Beach. The meets are spread out by position group, with sprints and jumps going to Mt. Sac, Distances to the Bryan Clay invitational, and throws to the Beach Invitational.
