Quack Fix 4-24-18: Saving Hayward

Golf is in 8th place after the first two rounds of the Pac 12 championships. The Ducks are lead by Ryan Gronlund and Norman Xiong in 14th and 19th overall.

Community concerns about the Hayward Field renovation are mounting and opponents of the plan have gained some support from City Hall. It should be noted that the victory won is quite small.

The register guard expands on the objections to Hayward Field renovation and explains that residents are pushing to make the East Grandstand an historic landmark as designated by the city. This alone wouldn’t save the structure, but it would be a step in the process.
