He joins a stellar draft class for the Broncos that has DE Bradley Chubb and WR Courtland Sutton thus far.
Freeman is the eighth running back taken in the first three rounds.
As I answered in the wonderful Q&A that Mr. Rob did, Freeman will be joining the Broncos backfield that also has a fellow Pac-12 RB in Devontae Booker. It remains to be seen what Freeman’s role will be at Mile High.
He joins a talented offense that features the likes of Sutton, Demaryius Thomas, and Emmanuel Sanders that is quarterbacked by newly signed Case Keenum of Vikings lore.
Where will Tyrell Crosby end up? Stay tuned!
Some comments about the pick:
Broncos GM John Elway:
Royce Freeman had a tremendous career at Oregon and is our 3rd round pick. He's a big, physical runner who will fit in well in our backfield. pic.twitter.com/Cqq11cdVTL

Draft expert Bucky Brooks:
Royce Freeman could be one of the draft's biggest surprises when we see him suit up for the @Broncos . We always talk about finding quality RBs in the 2nd- and 3rd round. Freeman could be the Day 2 RB that we talk about at the end of the season like Hunt/Kamara #NFLDraft
