Oregon women started the final day of the NCAA Championships great, with a second and a first in the first two events, but then unraveled quickly before finishing respectably for 7th overall. USC won the women’s title over Georgia in dramatic fashion.
Oregon’s day was highlighted by a win in the 1,500 for sophomore Jessica Hull. Hull pulled away with a strong move over the last 400 meters to win in a very fast 4:08.75.
