The Ducks plucked a highly touted four star rated safety recruit from the state of Alabama.

Bridges is a two sport star from Lanett (AL) High School. He’s also a noted basketball recruit so Dana Altman may have a conversation or two with Coach Cristobal about him playing hoops in the winter. A four star safety prospect that is a tall and lanky free safety type (6’3 175).

A guy who led his high school team to state titles in both football and basketball last season. Per 247 Sports, he credits Coach Cristobal, Coach Joe, and Coach Heyward (his future position coach) as his primary influences in committing. He put up an amazing 10 picks as a junior.

Currently ranked as the 359th recruit nationally, 30th at his position, and 14th in the state of Alabama.

He joins a commitment list that ranks among the top 10 in the country according to 247 Sports.

Josh Delgado, 4* WR

Malesala Aumavae-Laulu, OL (No. 1 JUCO Transfer)

Sua’ava Poti, 3* DE

Jaron Waters 3* WR

Isaac Townsend, 3* DE

MyKael Wright, 4* CB

Sean Dollars, 4* APB

Jeremiah Criddell, 4* CB

Lance Wilhoite, 4* WR

Patrick Herbert 4* TE

Currently ranked as the 359th recruit nationally, 30th at his position, and 14th in the state of Alabama.

Bridges holds 22 offers from nearly every power program in the country, including the reigning national champion Alabama Crimson Tide. It will be interesting to see if Oregon shuts down recruiting for defensive backs as they have both Criddell and Bridges committed.
