Freshman Penei Sewell came to Oregon with plenty of hype and is living up to it and possibly exceeding expectations. Sewell, who doesn’t turn 18 until October, is the first Duck to start on the offensive line in game one as a freshman in two decades.

The Oregon offense says that they are determined to start fast again this week against San Jose State, both in the first half and the first drive of the second half. Oregon players believe that they made improvements in execution against Portland State and are looking to continue that this week.

Volleyball wraps up their non conference schedule this week with back to back matches against Hawaii on Thursday and Friday. Oregon improved to 12th in the national polls after splitting games against top five opponents last week.
