Per the Register Guard Coach Cristobal says that he is looking forward to the challenge of competing against Stanford in the trenches this weekend. Stanford’s emphasis on dominating at the line of scrimmage on offense and defense is one that the Ducks are trying to replicate.

Goducks writes that women’s golf is playing in the East and West Match Play Challenge and earned the fifth seed after the stroke play portion. Oregon will match against eighth seeded Wisconsin in the first round of match play.

Austin Meek says that College Game Day coming to Eugene for the game this weekend is based on hope of what the Ducks might be more than facts about what they are. This weekend provides the chance for Oregon to prove that they are indeed back, however.
