NBC Sports gives us five reasons that Oregon vs Stanford is worth the hype this weekend. Included is the star power on each side with Love for Stanford and Herbert for Oregon, as well as the fact that the teams are much more similar than they have been in recent history.

Steve Mims writes that Bryce Love has not been as explosive this year as he had been in the past. The sample size is small and impacted by his 29 yard outing in Stanford’s season opening game.

Volleyball opens up conference play this weekend against Oregon State for the volleyball civil war. Oregon is currently ranked 12th nationally and is the second highest ranked team in the Pac 12, behind #2 Stanford.
