Per the Register Guard, coach Cristobal remains positive and supportive of running back CJ Verdell after he fumbled on Oregon’s last possession against Stanford. Coach Cristobal also offers his thoughts on Taj Griffin announcing his intent to transfer.

Rob Mosely writes that the emphasis for the football team this week in their first road game of the season will be on maintaining focus. In addition to coming off the first loss of the year and heading into their first road game, Oregon just started class as well.

Oregon volleyball players, Lindsey Vander Weide and Ronika Stone were named the Pac 12 defensive and offensive players of the week, respectively, after helping lead the team to a 2-0 weekend. Oregon defeated the Beavers and the Cougars over the weekend.
