Quack Fix 9-28-18: Herbert’s Preparation

Steve Mims previews the Cal game tomorrow with a look at Cal coach and Oregon Alum Justin Wilcox. Wilcox has the Bears 3-0 and ranked 24th in the country with the best victory in the conference so far this year after beating BYU in Provo.

Volleyball has enjoyed the resurgent offense of Lindsey Vander Weide the last two weeks, just in time for the start of conference play. Improved play from Vander Weide opens up significant options on offense for the Ducks and makes them a more dangerous team.

NBC Sports gives us a player feature on Justin Herbert that focuses on his preparation. Noted in the story is his reaction to the double overtime Cal loss two years ago in his first start compared to his reaction to the Stanford overtime defeat last week.
