Ugochukwu Amadi is a finalist for the Lombardi Award, given to the top player in college football regardless of position. There are seven finalists for the award and they include the Heisman winner Kyler Murray and WSUs Gardner Minshew.
Kenny Wooten returned to practice for the basketball team with the aid of a full face mask to protect his broken jaw. Wooten has yet to play with contact and is considered doubtful for the trip to Arizona this week.
