Happy MLK day and late quack fix. I have the day off and spent the morning playing games with my kids, thus the late fix.

Oregon women’s basketball dominated Arizona with a final score of 93-60. The Ducks remain undefeated in Pac 12 play at 6-0 and improved to 17-1 on the season. Oregon was ahead 31-4 at the end of the first quarter and the rest of the game was cruise control.

Austin Meek explores some of the potential issues at the athletic department behind the scenes that may have lead to Mike White’s departure for Texas. The article implies that there is at least the impression of unequal treatment for non revenue sports, and potentially specifically for women’s sports, within the athletic department.

Men’s tennis opened their season with a pair of sweeps at the student tennis center in Eugene. The Ducks defeated both Idaho and Seattle U 7-0. Per coach Shyllander, the team is ready to go for the upcoming season.
