The ESPN Recruiting Database just updated their rankings for the high school basketball class of 2019, 2020, and 2021. Three Oregon signees in the class of 2019 were put on this list as well as some high school players who are highly considering U of O as their college choice for next season.
#24 C.J. Walker (5-Star Recruit) - 6’8” Power Forward
#55 Isaac Johnson (4-Star Recruit) - 6’10” Center
#63 Chandler Lawson (4-Star Recruit) - 6’8” Power Forward
The #2 recruit in the class of 2019, Cole Anthony, is a 6’3” point guard who is considering Oregon along with Georgetown, Miami, North Carolina, Notre Dame, and Wake Forest. Also, the #27 recruit, Cassius Stanley, is a 6’5” shooting guard who is considering Oregon, Arizona, Kansas, Texas, UCLA, and USC. If Dana Altman was able to even grab one of these players for next season, Oregon should be considered to have a top-5 recruiting class in the nation.
Now, Oregon had a top-3 recruiting class last year and it hasn’t really been helping the team out too much this season. Will the class of 2019 be different?
