Quack Fix 10-1-19: Golf Updates

Oregon Alum and Nike Oregon Project coach Alberto Salazar has been given a 4 year doping ban by the U.S. Anti Doping Administration. Alberto was a star athlete at Oregon and coached, among others, Oregon Alum and two time Olympic medalist Galen Rupp.

Women’s golf is in second place through two rounds at the Molly Collegiate Invitational Monday at Waverley Country Club. The Ducks trail Stanford by seven shots for the overall lead. 4 Ducks are in the top ten overall as individuals.

Men’s golf is in fourteenth place at the Nike Collegiate Invitational at Witch Hollow at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club after two rounds. The Ducks shot 4 over as a team in each of the first two rounds and wrap up play today.

Volleyball’s Kylie Robinson has been named Pac 12 Freshman of the Week for the second time so far this season. Robinson had 108 total assists in games against Oregon State and Utah.
