Soccer lost a late lead against Cal and had to settle for a 1-1 tie. Oregon lead 1-0 at halftime and held that lead until the 88th minute when Cal evened the score. Oregon is winless with two ties through 4 games in conference play.
Nike has shut down the Oregon Project in the wake of Alberto Salazar’s 4 year suspension from track and field. Nike states that the Oregon Project label has become a distraction for the athletes and as a result, has become counterproductive to their success.
