The Duck senior guard was placed on the Bob Cousy Award watch list along with 19 other point guards from across the country. The award is giving to the best point guard in college basketball at the end of the season.

Colorado’s McKinley Wright IV and Arizona State’s Remy Martin were the only other PAC-12 point guards named on the award watch list.

Not only does Pritchard have a chance of winning this award but he has a shot of being the best point guard in Oregon’s school history. At 81 career wins, Payton is only 17 wins away from being the program’s winningest player. He’s also only 128 assists and 50 steals shy of becoming the all-time leader in those categories in the school’s history.
