Williams is a three star 6'0 195 safety recruit from the College of San Mateo.
He previously played college football at Illinois as a Freshman All-American safety before transferring to CSM in 2018. He was dismissed from the Illini for a violation of team rules.
According to 247 Sports, he is a three star safety that’s ranked as the fifth best junior college recruit in the state of California, third ranked JUCO safety overall, and the 23rd overall ranked JUCO prospect in the nation.
He officially visited Oregon for the most recent game against Colorado last Friday. Williams also visited for the Saturday Night Lights camp in July.
247 lists Safeties Coach Keith Heyward as his primary recruiter.
According to 247 Sports’ composite rankings, Oregon leads the Pac-12 race over hated rival washington and is ranked as the 15th best class nationally.
