Quack Fix 10-18-19: Cross Country to Wisconsin

Oreognlive asks how well the Oregon defense can contain the running back group from Uw. The fuskies use three running backs that all rank int he top 20 of the conference and according to Oregon DC Avalos will require strong eye discipline to contain.

Cross country is traveling to Wisconsin to compete in a race loaded with the nations top teams. In total there will be 29 ranked teams, with 20 in the women’s race and 19 in the men’s. Men’s cross country is ranked 7th and the women are ranked 14th.

The Daily Emerald talks to Isaac Slade-Matautia about his time at Oregon and his emergence as one of the centerpieces of the Oregon defense. Slade-Matautia emerged last year as a strong contributor prior to breaking his collar bone against Washington State.
