Offense

Top Offensive Performers

  • Johnny Mundt - Los Angeles Rams

With Marcus Mariota benched for what feels like an eternity and the Broncos on a bye, well that leaves the offensive standouts list a little dry. So reaching down deep into the well is Los Angeles Rams tight end, Johnny Mundt. Offensively, Mundt recorded his first reception of the season for nine yards, but he was much more involved than that. According to ESPN, Mundt added two tackles and a forced fumble to his box score against the Steelers.

Defense

Top Defensive Performers

  • DeForest Buckner - San Francisco 49ers

Perhaps it was just the right place at the right time, but either way six points is six points. DeForest Buckner returned a fumble-recovery 12 yards for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter, bringing the 49ers right back into the game down just 21-18. Buckner ends his night with five tackles as San Francisco falls for the first time this season to Seattle in overtime. Seahawks over the 49ers 27-24 on Monday Night Football.

  • De’Anthony Thomas - Baltimore Ravens

De’Anthony Thomas is once again back in the league, but not with the team originally thought. Baltimore announced the signing of wide receiver and return-specialist Thomas on Tuesday, In his first game with the Ravens, the speedster returned a kickoff for 18 yards and a punt return for eight yards in the 49-13 slaughtering of the 0-9 Cincinnati Bengals.

Honorable Mention

  • Troy Hill - Los Angeles Rams
NFL: Los Angeles Rams at Pittsburgh Steelers Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Starting in his fourth-straight game, Troy Hill record a season-high seven tackles in the 12-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hill recorded a pass deflection along with the seven solo tackles. He’s showing an ability to be a consistent NFL starting cornerback in his fourth year with the Rams.
