Quack Fix 11-21-19: I’m Not Dead Yet

While it is true that a plague swept through my house on the heels of a kindergartner, apparently the rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Justin Gallegos, the Oregon student with cerebral palsy who signed a professional contract with Nike and has competed for four years on the club team, is graduating this year. Gallegos has a goal of completing two marathons in 2020 and continuing to run and be involved in the sport for years to come.

GoDucks previews this Friday’s game against Houston for the men’s basketball team. Each team was in the Sweet 16 of last years NCAA Tournament. Oregon sports a top five ranked recruiting class but has been lead so far this year by three seniors and a junior in scoring.

Penei Sewell is among six semifinalists for the Outland Trophy, which is awarded to the nations best interior lineman, offense of defense. On Monday the list will be trimmed to three finalists.
