Sewell is a 6'2 266 inside linebacker recruit from Orem HS in Orem, Utah.

He has been a visitor to Oregon's campus numerous times thanks to his older brother Penei. Sewell officially visited on October 26th.

He is part of a legacy of football players as brothers Penei (Oregon), Gabriel (Nevada), and Nephi (Utah) all play for Division 1 programs.

247 Sports lists Outside Linebackers Coach Ken Wilson as his primary recruiter and DL Coach Joe Salave'a as his secondary recruiter.

247 Sports lead analyst Barton Simmons has him compared to Devin White of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. White was a top ten pick in the 2019 NFL Draft after a standout career at LSU.

247 Sports has him ranked as the top overall recruit in the state of Utah, second overall inside linebacker, and the 19th overall recruit nationally.

Sewell would be rated as the ninth best Oregon signee in school history with a rating of .9904.

With Sewell's commitment, Oregon jumps up to ninth overall rates class and the top class in the Pac-12 in the 247Sports Composite.
