Continuing on his career-best pace, Armstead and the 49ers defensive front dominated against Green Bay, Sunday night. Recording 2.0 sacks, five total tackles and four QB hits, Armstead has been on a tear throughout all of 2019. He recorded double-digit sacks for the first time in his career with the two he had against that “bad man” Aaron Rodgers. The edge-rusher is on track to quadruple his career sack record and should be well on his way to his first career Pro-Bowl. San Francisco over the Packers, 37-8.

.@packers @49ers @nbsmallerbear @DeForestBuckner this is the “MENTALITY” of these #49ers. They expect to take the ball away and it makes them even more dangerous #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/JzmEgYwA9i

This San Francisco defensive front has solidified themselves as one of the best units in all of football. Buckner has been seeing increased time as a defensive interior lineman with the addition of second-overall pick Nick Bosa. The Duck still gets it done from either inside, or outside rushing position recording 0.5 sacks, five tackles and two hits on Rodgers. The interior lineman has 5.5 sacks on the season with five games still remaining.
