Brown is a 6’1 220 2021 four star inside linebacker from Lebanon HS in Lebanon, OR.
According to 247 Sports, Brown is ranked as the top overall recruit in the state of Oregon, top ranked inside linebacker, and 103rd overall ranked recruit in the 2021 class.
He was on campus for an unofficial visit for the Civil War and committed in what appears to be the fitting room for recruits on their visits.
247 Sports lists his primary recruiter as Safeties coach Keith Heyward and his secondary recruiter as OLB coach Ken Wilson.
Brandon Huffman of 247 Sports has compared Brown to current Philadelphia Eagle linebacker Nigel Bradham Here is his evaluation of Brown:
“Physical and strong. Shows good lateral movement and ability to move in space. A downhill linebacker who can be a three-down player in college but needs to improve on his play diagnosis. Tendency to get flat-footed at times but shows good recovery ability and willingness to mix it up at the line of scrimmage. Projects as multi-year Power 5 starter and third-day NFL draft selection.”
Brown was timed at 4.81 for his 40 and a 33” vertical jump at The Opening regionals in May.
Oregon currently holds four commitments from the 2021 class, which is ranked as the second best class in conference and ninth best nationally.
