DUCKS 98 - HORNETS 59

The #6 Oregon Ducks (11-2, 8-0 Home) defeated the Alabama State Hornets (1-12, 0-9 Away) by a score of 98 to 59 at Matt Knight Arena in their final non-conference game of the season. Junior Chris Duarte scored a career-high 31 points and hit six three-pointers.

After a block by Francis Okoro and a Payton Pritchard triple to kickoff the game, Oregon went on a 19-4 run and never looked back. A couple of three-pointers by Duarte closed out the first half and the Ducks doubled the Hornets halftime score, 48 to 24. The home team hit six triples and shot 57% from the floor before the half, while the Hornets shot 29% during this stretch and committed 12 turnovers.

PAC-12 play will kick into gear for the Ducks this Thursday against the Colorado Buffaloes. Oregon is riding a five-game win streak and hope to live up to their preseason hype as the favorites to win the conference.
