Women’s basketball ended Stanford’s 22 game home winning streak, a 29 game losing streak at Stanford, and provided Stanford coach Tara Vanderveer with the worst loss in her 33 year career at Stanford. Oregon won 88-48 against the 11th ranked Cardinal.

Men’s basketball held Stanford to their lowest point total of the year, after holding them to the lowest first half point total for any team in conference this year. Oregon was lead by 20 points from Payton Pritchard on offense and by Kenny Wooten on defense with 7 blocks.

Softball closed out a strong opening weekend of their season with an 8-6 victory over Seattle U to move to 5-0 on the season. Oregon held a cumulative 53-20 margin over their opponents in the first five games. The schedule difficulty picks up significantly with 3 of the next four games against ranked opponents.

Track and field had a strong weekend with more season bests and athletes moving up the school top performance lists. Indoor track is moving close to the post season and will be competing at the Uw last chance meet next weekend prior to the Mountain Pacific and NCAA Championships.
