Sabrina Ionescu is dodging WNBA draft questions. The WNBA requires players to be 22 in the year in which they are drafted, making Ionescu newly eligible for the draft coming up this April. Ionescu is projected as the number 1 overall pick in the draft.

Dana Altman is working on communication with the basketball team as they head into the Civil War this weekend. Conversation has been notably absent on the offensive end where the Ducks rank 9th in the conference in shooting percentage.

Freshman infielder Rachel Cid earned freshman of the week honors for Pac 12 softball after helping to lead the Ducks to a 5-0 start last week. Cid hit .471 with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs last week.
