Freshman Aaron Zavala has started the season for Oregon baseball with a hot bat. Zavala is hitting .542 through the first six games of the year and 13 hits in his first six games, including four games with three hits, which is the best stretch of 6 games in modern Oregon baseball history.

Softball is looking to continue a strong start to the season with a trip to the Judi Garman Classic. The tournament features three games against ranked teams, including top ten opponents #3 Florida and #7 Tennessee.

The softball team will be looking to iron out it’s pitching rotation which has had only one reliable starter so far this year. So far this season the Ducks have been lead by Jordon Dail, with a 2.33 ERA and the most strikeouts in the Pac-12 with 74.
