Meanwhile, Oregon Baseball (20-12, 6-4) kicked the crap out of Washington State (7-24, 0-10) to the tune of 21 to 3.
The Ducks were already up 10-1 before scoring 11 runs in the sixth inning, humiliating the Cougars and setting two program record: most runs scored in an inning (11) and most hits in an inning (8). All nine of Oregon’s starters scored at least once as the Ducks continue their red-hot streak. They’ve scored 41 runs in their last three games (a modern era school record) and are likely to keep up their breakneck pace against the lowly Cougars.
The beatdown will hopefully continue today at 12:05 PM in Pullman, a live stream will be available for free.
