Quack Fix 4-19-19: Multi Event Success

Oregon special teams coach Bobby Williams had the tight ends added to his responsibilities, which he also coached at Alabama. Williams gives us a preview of the players at the tight end position and how they’ve performed so far this spring.

Oregon freshman Max Vollmer scored 7,840 points in his decathlon debut for the Ducks. The score ranks 7th overall in Oregon history and is the best score for a Duck since 2014. Keira McCarrell scored 5,336 points in the heptathlon, good for ninth best in school history and a new personal record.

Softball secured a 1-0 victory over Cal last night. The win improved Oregon to 3-10 in conference play and 18-21 overall on the season. Oregon plays two games against Cal to wrap up the series.

Baseball dropped a game, 5-4, against the second ranked Stanford Cardinal. Oregon had 13 hits to Stanford’s 7, but allowed 3 home runs in those 7 hits.
