Hutson is from St. John Bosco HS in California, where the Ducks have gotten several recruits to come to Oregon in recent years.
According to 247 Sports, he is the 19th best recruit in the state of California, the 38th best overall receiver, and the 215th overall recruit.
He visited last weekend and decided to commit this morning.
Hutson’s primary recruiter was Cornerbacks coach Donte Williams, according to 247 Sports.
Was a former USC commitment before his junior season.
Two way athlete (other position being cornerback, hence Coach Williams being his primary recruiter) but is being primarily recruited as a receiver, where Oregon needs some impact players.
This could portend good news regarding five star QB recruit D.J. Uiagalelei as they are high school teammates. Mr. Uiagalelei is in attendance at the Spring Game this afternoon.
