Quack Fix 4-25-19: Golf and Regionals

Golf finished in a tie for fifth at the Pac 12 Championships. Oregon was lead by Ryan Gronlund who shot even par over four rounds for 10th overall. Next up is the NCAA Regionals, where the top 81 teams are chosen to advance. Oregon is currently ranked 41st nationally.

Women’s golf has earned an invitation to the NCAA regional round for the 12th straight year. The Ducks are the 7th seed in their regional, the top 7 teams from each region earn an invitation to the NCAA National Championships.

Steve Mims at The Register Guard talks to freshman lead off hitter for the Oregon baseball team, Sam Novitske. Novitske has the third best batting average on the team this year and has hit 14-32 over his past 6 games.
