Miles Norris, the freshman forward, and Victor Bailey Jr., the sophomore guard, intend to leave the Oregon basketball program. It isn’t announced what other schools each players are looking at or talking to just yet.
The true freshman only averaged 3.3 PPG and 1.9 RPG in a mere 10.5 MPG. The incoming 2019 recruiting class consisting of Chandler Lawson and CJ Walker would most likely take away more minutes from Norris so he decided to pursue other options. As for Victor Bailey Jr. (7.4 PPG and 2.0 RPG in 19.1 MPG), He also would be losing minutes with a guard-heavy roster next year that consists of (possibly) Payton Pritchard, Will Richardson, and now Chris Duarte.
Both of these players saw minimal time on the court during Oregon’s 12-game winning streak. With Norris and Bailey Jr. off the roster, Dana Altman has six open spots that he needs to fill for the 2019-2020 basketball season.
