Steve Mims speculates that the future for Oregon baseball coach George Horton is up in the air with the season ending soon. Horton’s contract has a mutual option for next season. The team is eliminated from post season consideration for this year, marking the fourth straight season without an NCAA tournament appearance.

Track and field is on their way to Texas for the NCAA West Prelim Meet, the qualifying meet for the NCAA National Championships. Oregon has 56 entrants, the top 12 athletes in each event qualify for the National Championships.

Cravon Gillespie discusses what his goals were before the season and how his progress has been so far. Gillespie set goals of winning multiple individual national titles, going under 10.0 for 100 meters, and winning a team national title. Gillespie broke 10.0 at the Pac 12 Championships, and needs to clear this weekends West Prelim prior to the National goals.
