Oregon freshman Max Vollmer won the Pac 12 Decathlon title this weekend. Vollmer dominated the event with a total score of 7,964, a new personal record. Second place was 7,259 points. Vollmer set personal records in 6 of 10 events and the final score was the the best score at the Pac 12 meet since 2013.

Kathleen Scavo lead the Oregon women’s golf team through the first round of the Pac 12 golf championships. Scavo shot a 5 under 67 for second place overall after the first round, the score is her best round of the year.

Women’s track has moved back into the top five of the national rankings. Oregon benefited from a strong 1,500 meter effort from Jessica Hull Susan Ejore, who both ran well at the Payton Jordan Invitational at Stanford. Hull won the 1,500 in 4:12.08 while Ejore finished second in the 800 at 2:02.66.
