Lök Wur is Joining the Duck Basketball Family

The 2019 recruiting class receives its fifth commitment

Lök Wur, a 6’8” power forward from Nebraska, visited Eugene over the past weekend and immediately after decided that he wanted to continue his basketball career as a Duck. Wur had offers from other schools such as Creighton, Virginia Tech, Iowa, Kansas State, Nevada, and Texas A&M.

Lök averaged 20.8 PPG, 10 RPG and 2.5 BPG in his senior season at Papillion-La Vista South High School. Wur is an athletic and lanky player who can run the floor. He is a strong rim-finisher who is very explosive off the bounce.

Dana Altman has three talented forwards coming onto campus through the 2019 recruiting class (Wur, Lawson, Walker). His roster is now at a total of nine scholarship players ready to go for next season. There are still three scholarships available and UNLV grad transfer, Shakur Juiston, is one player that Oregon is still strongly going after.
