Oregon has drawn their opening round opponent in the Seton Hall Pirates. The game will take place in the Bahamas on Wednesday, November 27th at 9:30 PM ET on ESPN2. Oregon will have a chance to play another team from the Pacific Northwest (if they were to move on to the second round) in the Gonzaga Bulldogs. I will be rooting for that matchup as I’m a 2019 Gonzaga graduate. Don’t worry, I’m not going to pick a side in that game. I just want to watch some high-paced basketball in what should be the best early-season college basketball tournament in all of college basketball.

This will be Oregon’s first appearance in the tournament. The last time the Ducks played Seton Hall was in the first round of the 2000 NCAA Tournament. Oregon lost to the Pirates in a close one, 72-71. A.D. Smith led the Ducks in scoring with 17 points to go along with 7 rebounds and 3 assists.
