Safety Brady Breeze has found that he is a much better fit for the defensive scheme under new coach Avalos than he was under coach Leavitt last year. Breeze is in the lead to start at safety this year after having a limited role last year which included time at linebacker.

NBC Sports Northwest examines the contrast in leadership styles on the Oregon football team. The article looks at the (extremely) vocal leadership of coach Aaron Feld as well as the mild mannered leadership of Justin Herbert.

Updated football practice report is here. The team has reached the half way point of fall camp and was in full pads again. Rob Mosely writes primarily about the improvement of Justin Herbert from last season to this fall and notes he’s the primary reason for hope in this years team.
