PIttman was in line for a big role for the offense until the injury derailed what was to be promising debut season for him. He was a big time target during the spring and the spring game. He was standing out during fall camp as well.
The optimistic end of the timetable puts him in line to return against Washington and eight weeks puts a return against USC.
The injury puts an increased spotlight on Juwan Johnson, Jaylon Reed, Johnny Johnson III and the other young receivers to step up.
Fellow wide receiver Brendan Schooler is on a similar timetable with Pittman.
Ducks fans can only hope for a speedy recovery for the talented Pittmam.
