ARIZONA @ HAWAII

Hawaii v Arizona Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images

TIME/CHANNEL: Saturday, 7:30 PM, CBSSN

2018 RECORD: ARIZONA (5-7, 4-5) / HAWAII (8-6, 5-3)

HISTORICAL RECORD: Wildcats have won all five of their match-ups with Hawaii.

NOTES: Arizona came into the 2018 season with some serious hype; Khalil Tate looked like a true Heisman contender for a solid month and new head coach Kevin Sumlin seemed up for the task of bringing out his inner Johnny Football. However things quickly turned sour for the Wildcats, opening the season with two losses to bigger and meaner cats (BYU and Houston).

Hawaii on the other hand had a much better season than many expected, going 8-6 and competing in the Hawaii Bowl against Louisiana Tech. Most of that success is due to their high-flying offense, and most of that offense is due to quarterback Cole McDonald. The junior managed to throw for 3,875 yard and 36 touchdowns despite missing a few games due to injury. He’ll try to take advantage of Arizona’s weak pass coverage, which ranked 121st in the nation, while praying to God that his own defense doesn’t give the game away, seeing how they averaged 35.1 points per game last year.

Long story short: this has the potential to be a shootout that ends the following morning!

MIAMI VS FLORIDA

Florida v Miami Photo by Joel Auerbach/Getty Images

TIME/CHANNEL: Saturday, 4:00 PM, ESPN

2018 RECORD: MIAMI (7-6, 4-4) / FLORIDA (10-3, 5-3)

HISTORICAL RECORD: The Hurricanes lead the overall series 29 - 26.

SEASON RECAP: What is there to say about this game? It’s high profile as hell, even if these teams are far removed from their former glory. The winner will most likely receive a moment of national relevancy, even if it is fleeting. It’s at Camping World Stadium...

But these aren’t PAC-12 teams and these aren’t Oregon foes, so screw ‘em! Sure we’ll all be watching it with the intensity of a thousand burning suns because it’s football and it’s finally here, but this game isn’t likely to affect Oregon’s season at all so consider this a warm-up voting round, as in it won’t go towards our overall site prediction score.
