Quack Fix 8-29-19: Volleyball Season Opener

Volleyball opens their season tomorrow with a game against UC Irvine at Mathew Knight Arena. Volleyball opens the season ranked 11th nationally following an elite eight run last year but return only four players with college game experience.

Mel Kiper and Todd McShay both say that Herberts decision to return for his college season was correct. The analysts point to a lack of consistency last year that they (and we) hope can be fixed this year.

The Daily Emerald gives us players to watch in the season opener against Auburn. For Oregon they include receiver Juwon Johnson and linebacker Isaac Slade-Matautia. For Auburn the list includes freshman quarterback Bo Nix.
