The Register Guard talks to freshman Mycah Pittman heading into his first football season with Oregon. The freshman arrived early on campus, and says he now knows the entire playbook. Pittman is expected to contribute as a freshman.

Local organizers are pushing to bring the women’s Final Four to Portland. The bid is currently being lead by representatives from OSU, but they are open to working with Oregon staff to achieve their goal. Warning, Clownzano link.

Football practice report is available for the first full pads practice of the year. The Ducks were joined by injured senior Brendan Schooler on crutches, who took a coaching role with the team while hurt.
