At last, the regular season schedule for the Oregon men’s basketball team has been released and it will be a challenge.

The Ducks will be making road trips to the Rocky Mountains, the Evergreen State, the Bay Area, and the Grand Canyon State (as well as an in-state visit to Corvallis). That won’t be easy for a squad that will most likely be the preseason #1 ranked team in the PAC-12. Dana Altman and company will have a target on their back the whole year.

I would say the positives of this schedule is that Oregon gets to play California and Stanford each twice (both teams should be towards the bottom of the standings once again) as well as the fact that they only have to play Washington once in the regular season.

The Huskies are bringing in a talented recruiting class with Isaiah Stewart and Jaden McDaniels. Mike Hopkins also landed the highly-talented Kentucky transfer, Quade Green, who looks to be eligible halfway through the 2019-2020 season (right in time for conference play). If I had to put money on it, I believe the Ducks will be facing the Huskies again in Las Vegas at the PAC-12 Championship. We all know what happened the last time those two teams played each other.
