McCormick injured his ankle during the latter portions of fall camp and has been seen trying to warm up during the past three games but ultimately was not able to participate.
He now has been unable to play for the Ducks for the better part of two seasons due to injury. He already has utilized his redshirt earlier in his career so he is not able to use it at this time.
Last season, McCormick suffered a broken fibula against Bowling Green and subsequently missed the sum of that season.
McCormick has posted a career stat line of seven receptions for 87 yards and one touchdown to date.
The Ducks remain injury ravaged at their offensive skill positions but are in position to get a few pieces back over the next few weeks as they get into the meat of the conference schedule.
Receivers Mycah Pittman and Brenden Schooler are on track to join the Ducks for practices after their bye week, which is Sept. 28. So don't look for them to get back in time for Stanford. #GoDucks

Cristobal said he expects Austin Faoliu and Bryson Young back this week after missing the Montana game. X-rays on Graham were negative and Habibi-Likio is going to be OK after experiencing back spasms. Steven Jones also OK after dealing with a stinger. #GoDucks

In more positive news, the Ducks will likely get back several key contributors back for the conference opener against Stanford this weekend. WR Juwan Johnson is on track to return as well.
Please stay healthy, Ducks!
