Oregon football players were named conference offensive and defensive linemen of the week after the Stanford victory. Penei Sewell won on the offensive side, and Gus Cumberlander won on the defensive side. This is the second straight award for Sewell.

24/7 Sports looks at all of the football players that remain eligible for a redshirt, freshman and otherwise, who have played int hie first four games of the year. Eight freshmen have played in the first four games and seem likely to remain regular contributors to the team.

Bleacher Report gives us a list of one loss teams that are still in the CFP race, with Oregon leading the list. The article is high on our defense and Herbert and says the loss to Auburn is relatively forgivable. Also included are Notre Dame and Texas.
